Total Time:10 minutes
Yield:1 serving
Ingredients
Pink Latte Ingredients
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon beetroot powder
1 pinch cinnamon
Optional: dried lavender for garnish
Instructions
Heat the milk: Warm half of the milk in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of beetroot powder and a pinch of cinnamon. Heat until it just reaches a boil, then remove from heat.
Froth remaining milk: Using a milk frother, whisk, or blender, froth the remaining half cup of milk until light and foamy.
Combine and sweeten: Pour the hot beetroot milk into a mug and top it with the frothed milk. Stir gently to combine, then add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or your preferred sweetener and mix well.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle additional beetroot powder or cinnamon powder on top for extra color and flavor. Optionally, add some dried lavender as a fragrant garnish before serving.
Notes
Use any kind of milk you prefer, such as dairy, almond, oat, or soy milk.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup or use honey as an alternative.
Beetroot powder can stain, so handle with care and clean any spills immediately.
For a stronger beet flavor, increase the beetroot powder to 1.5 teaspoons if desired.
Frothing can be done with a hand whisk or small blender if a milk frother is unavailable.
